Dr Yen Choo
Scientific Advisor, PhD (Cambridge)

Dr Choo is the Founder and Chief Executive of Plasticell. He was a Founder and Chief Scientist of Gendaq Ltd, an MRC gene regulation company which was acquired by US biotech Sangamo Biosciences Inc. (Richmond, CA). Previously Dr Choo was a staff scientist at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. He is an inventor named in over 15 granted patents and has published over 30 scientific papers, holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and is the recipient of the Prize for Young Scientists awarded by Pharmacia Biotech and Science the pre-eminent international scientific journal.

Dr Jeffrey Staples
Medical Advisor, MD (Columbia), MBA (San Francisco)

Dr Staples attended medical school at Columbia University in New York and completed his post-graduate training in Hawaii in 1994 at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Staples previously served as the Regional Medical Director for International SOS serving a wide array of Fortune 500 clients. In 2008, Dr. Staples joined Parkway Health where he served as the Division President and managed the largest international medical provider in Shanghai. Through aggressive revenue growth and cost containment, the division earned record profits for the group. Dr Staples is currently the CEO of Sheik Kalifa Hospital (Cleveland Clinic), a 700 bed hospital in Abu Dhabi.

Dr Armid Azadeh

Group Medical Director, MBChB (University of Cape Town), MPH (Johns Hopkins University)

German born, trained in South Africa and educated in the USA at Johns Hopkins University, Dr Azadeh has served as a clinical doctor and public health consultant to Fortune 500 companies including Mitsui Corporation, Coca Cola and Mitsubishi.
